Job Overview

We are currently hiring an Assembler for a 2nd shift temp-to-hire opportunity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior electronics or mechanical assembly experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual and automated prep equipment within the department.
  • Install thru-hole electronic components (capacitors, resistors, ICs, connectors) according to work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Use a variety of hand tools to support assembly and minor part-fitting activities such as filing and crimping.
  • De-panel circuit boards from arrays as required.
  • Create and apply labels, including serial numbers and revision identifiers, per work instructions.
  • Perform high-volume, repetitive assembly work while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet internal and customer standards.
  • Work under the direction of senior personnel and participate in training to build skill proficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pre-employment background check.
  • 2-4 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English.
  • Strong manual dexterity and comfort working with small, precision components.
  • Experience using hand tools and specialized assembly equipment.
  • IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification preferred, but not required.
